I’m a firm believer that every photo tells a story and represents a single moment in time worthy of being captured. My own story with photography began over seven years ago when my then-boyfriend, now husband, gifted me a camera. On a girls’ trip, I snapped a few photos of my sister on the beach, and she encouraged me to take it further. That moment sparked a journey I never expected—one that led me from trying college photography courses, to realizing I learn best hands-on, to working alongside other photographers and finding my own path.
In the early days, I photographed just about everything—seniors, babies, families, weddings, anniversary parties, and engagements. But over time, I discovered where my heart truly lies: documenting weddings, engagements, and family sessions. These are the moments that fill my cup, the ones that matter most to my clients, and the ones I feel honored to preserve.
Looking back, it makes sense—I had been asking for cameras since I was a little girl. Photography wasn’t always encouraged as a career choice, so I put it aside for a while and even started school for teaching, only to realize that wasn’t my calling.
From the excitement of saying ‘yes’ to forever, to the tender chaos of raising little ones, and every moment in between, these are the pieces of your story that deserve to be remembered. Photography allows us to freeze time, creating a way to look back and feel the emotions all over again. Because the seasons may pass, but the memories will always remain.
